Wade has been working in the forest industry, and in particular Christmas Trees for 38 years. Starting when he was 9 years old helping out on the family tree lots and woodlands. Wade has worked for other companies over the years, where he has planted, cultivated, harvested and sold Christmas Trees. He also does re-forestation, silviculture and harvesting of wood products using low impact forestry and full mechanized methods.

Jason's story starts off like Wade's, in that he has helped on the family Christmas Tree lots and woodlands from a young age and shearing Christmas Trees for summer employment. But he took a break for 24 years and started a career at sea. During this time he has worked on Tall Ships to Passenger Ferries. He now holds a Masters certific
Jason's story starts off like Wade's, in that he has helped on the family Christmas Tree lots and woodlands from a young age and shearing Christmas Trees for summer employment. But he took a break for 24 years and started a career at sea. During this time he has worked on Tall Ships to Passenger Ferries. He now holds a Masters certificate of competency and works with the Province of Nova Scotia, Marine Services. During this Jason still found time in the Fall to help his father with the harvesting.
